Terms
The rules for this website and for using Lyrics Presentation while it is early.
Effective 25 August 2026.
These terms govern your use of this website and of the Lyrics Presentation software (together, the “service”). By using either, you agree to them. If you use the software for a church or organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
What Lyrics Presentation is
Lyrics Presentation is lyric presentation software for churches. It is meant to turn lyrics into slides and to send a lyric output that can be used with a display or as a source in OBS. It is not an OBS replacement, not a full production suite, and not a license for the songs you present.
The product is in its early stages. Features, availability, and the way you obtain the software may change. Signing up on this site does not guarantee a release date.
Churches and commercial use
Lyrics Presentation is free for churches. A church may use it for worship, ministry, and other church gatherings without paying us a license fee.
Commercial use requires a purchase. That includes use by a business, a for-profit venue or production, paid events run as a commercial service, resale, or bundling the software with a paid product. If you are not a church and you want to use it, contact us before you do. We do not publish a commercial price on this site; we will tell you what a purchase involves when you ask.
Free for churches does not change your duty to license the songs you present. CCLI and similar licenses are separate.
This website
The public pages describe the product. You may browse them for that purpose. Do not misuse the site (including attempting to break it, overload it, or scrape it in a way that interferes with others).
If you submit the sign-up form, you agree that the information you send is accurate enough to reach you, and that we may use it as described in the Privacy page.
The software
When you run Lyrics Presentation, you are responsible for the computer, the network, OBS or other tools you connect, and the people who operate it. Use it only where you have the right to do so. Do not interfere with other operators on a shared machine in a way that harms a service or another church’s work.
If a separate license file or notice ships with a particular build of the software, that license controls for that build. These website terms still apply to this site.
Songs, CCLI, and your content
You are responsible for the lyrics, CCLI or copyright lines, and any other material you put into the software or display in a gathering. Lyrics Presentation can show CCLI or license text you provide. It does not grant a performing, mechanical, or display license, and it does not replace CCLI or any other reporting your church already uses.
Do not use the software to present material you do not have the right to present. That responsibility stays with you and your church.
Other people’s software
OBS, FreeShow, browsers, operating systems, and other tools linked or mentioned here have their own terms. We are not those products and we are not responsible for them.
Our materials
The Lyrics Presentation name, this website, and the software (except your lyrics and similar content you supply) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the software or the site except as we expressly allow.
No warranty
The site and the software are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular Sunday, venue, or broadcast. Early software can fail, change, or be withdrawn. You use it at your own risk, including during live services.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for a failed service, missed slide, or display issue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the software is limited to the amount you paid us for the software in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow certain limits; in those places, the limit is the maximum the law allows.
Changes
We may change these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. If you continue to use the site or the software after an update, you accept the new terms.
